CQMoney Navigation

When CQMoney starts up, you are presented with a main program window which contains a menu, a toolbar and a status bar at the bottom. The toolbar contains buttons for commonly used commands. There is also an Edit submenu in the top menu, which contains items corresponding to the toolbar buttons. Clicking on the toolbar and Edit menu entries has the same effect.

When you click on a button in the toolbar, you will get a screen that looks like the one below. CQMoney will open a browser window that contains all current entries or records for that particular button command. The screen shot below contains beneficiaries, and there are 4 records in the Beneficiaries table. In the Beneficiaries window shown below, and in all other browser windows, there are buttons. From left to right they allow you to add a new record, edit an existing record, delete an existing record, or to refresh the current records. You can also move your mouse cursor over these buttons, and a tool hint will appear.

To make a particular record the current one, for example when you'd like to edit or delete that record, click on the Record ID for the record in the grid of records. In the example below, if you want to edit Western Bank Vehicle Finance, you would click on the last row of the grid, and then click on the pencil icon to edit Western Bank's record.

When you add a new record or edit an existing record, a dialog box will appear, containing fields for that record - see the example screen shot below. If you are unsure about what to type in a particular field, move your mouse cursor to that field and a tooltip will appear. When you are finished capturing the data, click on the "Save and close" button and your editing will be saved and you will return to the navigator window (above). If you want to abandon your changes, click on the Cancel button.
